Terms of Service

Early Access

STOA Platform is currently in Early Access. These terms may be updated as the platform evolves toward General Availability. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account.

1. Eligibility​

STOA Platform is available to individuals and organizations who:

  • Are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction).
  • Provide accurate registration information.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Acceptable Use​

You agree to use STOA Platform in good faith for its intended purpose: managing, exposing, and consuming APIs and MCP tools. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks.
  • Use the platform to transmit malware, spam, or any illegal content.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
  • Exceed documented rate limits or abuse the platform infrastructure.
  • Resell access to the platform without prior written agreement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Intellectual Property​

STOA Platform is open-source software licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Your rights to use, modify, and distribute the source code are governed by that license.

Content you create, upload, or configure through the platform (API definitions, tool configurations, policies) remains yours. By using the platform, you grant STOA the limited right to process and store this content as necessary to provide the service.

The STOA name, logo, and branding are trademarks of CAB Ingenierie. See our Trademark Notice for details.

4. Service Availability​

STOA Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis during Early Access. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible.

For the hosted service, current status and uptime information is available at status.gostoa.dev.

5. Data and Privacy​

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the platform: account credentials, API configurations, and usage metrics. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

For deployments using Keycloak authentication, user credentials are managed by your identity provider. STOA does not store passwords directly.

A detailed Privacy Policy will be published before General Availability.

6. Disclaimers​

No warranty. STOA Platform is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

No legal advice. STOA Platform provides technical capabilities that support regulatory compliance efforts (DORA, NIS2, GDPR). This does not constitute legal advice or a guarantee of compliance. Consult qualified legal counsel for your compliance requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CAB Ingenierie and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of STOA Platform.

During the Early Access period, the platform is provided free of charge. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law​

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

9. Changes to These Terms​

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the latest revision was made. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
